Monica N. Danon-Schaffer, BA Sc., M.Eng., P.Eng. Ph.D. (Candidate)
Monica Danon-Schaffer has extensive national and international experience examining and investigating environmental due diligence, incidences of failures to comply with proper environmental practices, and conducting related compliance audits. She has been intimately involved in environmental investigations throughout Central and South America in the manufacturing and mining industries.
Monica has extensive experience in conducting forensic examinations of environmental incidents to determine the level and nature of corporate/government compliance with safety practices, and the impact(s) of local practices.
At present, Monica is completing her Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of British Columbia. She is a member of several related professional associations, and has published extensively in the area of environmental due diligence and compliance audits.
